Welcome to the United Nations Society!

The United Nations Society (UNS) is an independent international student and volunteer society based in London, UK. It was created in 2007 by concerned students representing several colleges of the University of London.

UNS welcomes students and concerned individuals interested in global issues, international affairs, and the role of the UN and global institutions in world politics.

Our main goal is to raise awareness about global issues, such as hunger, poverty, HIV/AIDS, environmental degradation, etc. We aim to engage in the global civil society action to tackle these issues, and to support the work of the UN and international organisations trying to deal with some of the challenges of our time.

Make a Difference and Fill the Cup!

Help to fight the child hunger now!

The World Food Programme has recently launched a new campaign against child hunger 'Fill the Cup'. You can make a very felt difference in the global fight against child hunger just by clicking here and making an online donation to the WFP, whatever it may be. It takes just 25 USD cents to fill one of the 'Red Cups' that the WFP uses to give hungry children a regular school meal of porridge, rice or beans. 15 USD would feed 10 children for a week. Join us and help the WFP 'Fill the Cup' by making an online donation now. Please go at the WFP-supported secure website and help to feed the hungry, dying and sick children.
